Who we are

This website is run by Qualsted ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@qualsted.com. [Legal entity name and registered address to confirm with counsel.]

What this policy covers

It covers this website and the requests you send through it, such as asking for a demo. It does not cover the Qualsted software your organization uses once it is a customer: what a customer keeps in its workspace is that customer's data, which we handle only on its behalf under its agreement with us. How that data is hosted and protected is described on our trust center.

What we collect

• What you tell us. If you request a demo or write to us, we receive what you enter: your name, work email, company, role, industry, team size, your message, and whether you are interested in the founding customer program. We receive the same if you email us directly.
• Technical records. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs: your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested and your browser type. We use them to keep the site secure and working.

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or health information on this website, and please don't send them.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, does not store anything in your browser, and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. The fonts and images it uses are served from the site itself. If that changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How we use it

• To answer your request and arrange a demo, and to follow up about it.
• To run and protect the website.
• To keep a record of our conversations and of who has asked about the founding customer program.

Where the law asks for a legal basis, it is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before an agreement, or your consent where we say we are asking for it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it for that purpose. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that help us run this website and receive your messages, under terms that let them use it only for that purpose:

• Amazon Web Services, which hosts the website and delivers its email.
• Our email and calendar provider, where your messages and any meeting invitation are kept. [Provider to confirm.]

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If we are ever part of a merger or sale, your details may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Where it is processed

In the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your details will be transferred to the United States; our providers use recognized safeguards for this, and you can ask us about them.

How long we keep it

Demo requests and our correspondence with you are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer (then we keep what the relationship requires) or ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you may also ask us to restrict or move your data, object to how we use it, withdraw consent where we rely on it, and complain to your data protection authority. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you, including to know, delete and correct, and not to be discriminated against for using them. We will not sell or share your personal information as those laws define it. Write to hello@qualsted.com; we may ask you to confirm it is you, and we reply within the time the law allows.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection and the details you send are delivered to our mailbox by email from our hosting provider's systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. To report a security problem, write to security@qualsted.com.

Children

This website is for people who work in regulated industries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use details you have already sent us, we will tell you.
